Please join the New York Energy Forum and Columbia University's Center on Global Energy Policy for a presentation and discussion with Bobby Tudor, Chairman and CEO of Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co., LLC and Robert Kleinberg, physicist and fellow at Schlumberger. 

SPEAKERS:

Bobby Tudor

Bobby Tudor serves as the Chairman and CEO of Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co., LLC. He was previously a partner with Goldman Sachs & Co. prior to founding Tudor Capital. During his nearly 20-year career with Goldman Sachs, he worked in the New York, London and Houston offices, in varying capacities including head of southwest region and head of European industrial and natural resources group. Tudor holds a BA in English and Legal Studies from Rice University and a JD from Tulane Law School.

Robert Kleinberg

Robert Kleinberg has been employed by Schlumberger since 1980 and is a Schlumberger Fellow, one of less than a dozen who hold this rank in a workforce of 110,000. He holds a BS degree in Chemistry and a PhD in Physics, both from the University of California. His current activities mostly focus on shale gas and tight oil resources. Dr. Kleinberg has published more than 100 academic and professional papers, holds 34 U.S. patents, and is the inventor of several geophysical instruments that have been commercialized on a worldwide basis. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering.

MODERATOR:

Ed Morse

Ed Morse is Chair, Energy Forum Advisory Board and Managing Director and Global Head of Commodity Research, Citigroup. Formerly Head of Commodity Research for Credit Suisse,  Chief Economist, LCM Commodities and Managing Director and Chief Energy Economist for Lehman Brothers, his career in the energy sector spans more than three decades and includes senior positions in business, government, academia and publishing. Dr. Morse earned his doctorate in politics at Princeton University and his master’s degree at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
