The growth in US and Canadian LNG export capacity in the 2020s is well understood. LNG Canada is in the process of ramping production while new projects are in development on the British Columbia coast. The US export capacity ballooned in 2025 and will continue to grow through the end of the decade. But, where will all this LNG go?  What existing and growing markets are there for LNG?  How long will it take for the world to absorb these volumes?  What will be the implications of this extra trade in LNG on global energy balances?

While many commodity markets consider the security of supply, this session will focus on the security of demand for the growing international trade of natural gas.

This session will be in person at the Consulate General of Canada in New York.
