Although it will take time to see the full potential of AI, its impact on global geopolitics, economic growth and energy demand are increasingly visible. This race has multiple dimensions, spanning economics, geopolitics and energy. AI is a global phenomenon with the U.S. and China leading the data center buildout. Investment in data centers is already moving the US macro needle. Surging electricity demand is outpacing generation and grid capacity leading to electricity price inflation. How will investors manage the risks if the promise of AI is not delivered? How should data center operators address environmental impacts? How is AI influencing global energy policies and geopolitics? Will AI become the defining technology in the 21st century?
This event will be a virtual session via Zoom Webinar from 10:30 AM until 12:00 PM ET. Additional details will be provided to registered attendees prior to the session.
