With the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic and government's strict lockdown measures as well as a series of structural adjustments and policy initiatives to reduce carbon emissions, China might well have entered a new era of lower growth with implications for the global energy market. At the same time, the Russia-Ukraine conflict has created a new role for China as a game changer in loosening up the tight global energy market.

Join us in this session to explore China's policy initiatives, its economic outlook and its role in the global energy market. We are joined by Tracy Liao, Commodities Analyst at Balyasny Asset Management in Hong Kong, and Daniel Rosen, Partner at Rhodium Group who leads the firm’s work on China. Ed Morse, Chair of the Energy Forum Board of Directors and Managing Director and Global Head of Commodities Research at Citi, will moderate the discussion.

Please note this event will be a virtual session via Zoom Webinar from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM EDT. Additional details will be provided to registered attendees prior to the session.
